Metamorphosies (to a Blues God)
As a kind of pin-up in Led Zepplin he has metamorphosised into an aged blues singer, like the idols who first inspired him.
This is an image of someone who has lived the life of a rock star with his features so distinctly weathered as to suggest to the viewer the appearance of the image could well have been carved from granite.
